Write tests for a file, following existing patterns

Write tests for $1 using the test-driven-development skill (find it with skill_select, then read its SKILL.md). Follow existing test conventions, test observable behavior with independent expectations, and demonstrate sensitivity to a plausible defect. Run focused tests and required repo checks; report observed results and gaps.
